Handling of polystyrene-based particle suspensions for water quality testing "related products for turbidity measurement."

In addition to the conventional kaolin standard solution, we also offer a polystyrene-based particle suspension that is adopted in drinking water quality standards. You can choose according to your purpose.

"Related products for turbidity measurement" are reagents used in testing methods targeting the water quality standard item "turbidity." Traditionally, kaolin standard solutions were used for turbidity measurement; however, due to the increasing precision of measuring devices and the need to address pathogenic microorganisms such as Cryptosporidium, measurements in low turbidity ranges, such as 0.1 NTU, are now required. The water quality standards for drinking water allow for measurements in low turbidity ranges, and polystyrene-based particle suspensions have been adopted as turbidity standard solutions with less variability between batches compared to kaolin.
